Your Local 778 Bargaining Committee is pleased to report that there has been positive movement this week on a number of important issues brought to the table. We were able to make movement on several non-economic articles.
These agreements were reached thanks to the hard work of your Bargaining Committee – which now opens up room to discuss and hone in on the top issues and the ones you told us were important in your membership surveys: wages, health care, retirement security and seniority.
Thank you once again for your continued show of solidarity and support from the shop floor.
There’s still much more work to be done. Negotiations will reconvene on Monday.
