The IAM Local Lodge 778 and Honeywell FM&T negotiations committees exchanged initial proposals today in anticipation of our upcoming negotiations, which will begin November 1, 2017.
Based on this first round of proposals, one thing is clear: while the union’s goal is to modify the current contract to a fair and equitable agreement that supports, both, our workforce as well as our critical national defense mission, the company appears to be focused on concessions.
Your Committee is ready for the fight.
We look forward to engaging in what we know will be a spirited debate over the coming weeks. But, as in any negotiation, solidarity is key. Your support is important – now more than ever.
